Dear Friends of Blenheim EquiSports

Welcome to 2009! It is such a thrill to be able to continue to have our shows at our present location in San Juan Capistrano ! …As many of you know, we didn’t think this would be the case at the end of last year’s season. In October however, we got the great news from Rancho Mission Viejo that the current facility would be available to us for the next three years! We look forward to sharing this beautiful venue with you throughout the upcoming show season.

We start off our Spring Series with the final FEI World Cup Qualifier in the U.S. League, as well as the first of several “brand new” 1.20 m & 1.30 m jumper classics that will be offered this year. For the middle week of the Spring Series, we have added a new “Hunt Teams” event to be followed by our $35,000 Spring Classic II Grand Prix. And in Week III, we will be presenting the $10,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby in the North Grass Field as well as the final indoor “prep” for the 2009 World Cup Final…As always, we wish the very best of luck to our West Coast-based riders as they “do battle” against the world’s best the following week in Las Vegas!

In response to numerous exhibitor requests, we are consolidating the morning sign-up procedure in the North Field hospitality area (next to Margaret’s food court) from 6:45 AM until 7:30 AM. We hope that this new gathering spot will provide exhibitors with an opportunity to enjoy a donut and a cup of coffee before embarking on the activities of the day! We also look forward to inviting all of our guests to the various social functions during the series, including the “Hunt Teams” Wine & Cheese reception and the Spring III Grand Prix exhibitor party.
